SYNAGOGUE BEATS GAY BLONDE HOLIDAY RACING CARNIVAL "JHE holiday racing carnival advanced another stage yesterday with the second day of the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting at Ellerslie. The principal event, the Summer Cup, saw the moderately-supported King March score a brilliant victory in fast time. The King’s Plate resulted in a win for Synagogue, who changed hands recently at a big figure. The chief fixtures to-day will be the concluding day of the Manawatu Racing Club’s meeting and the second day of the Auckland Trotting Club’s meeting.
