NEW PLYMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL. ASSOCIATION AT HAWERA. The annual meeting of the South Taranaki branch of the New Plymouth Boys High School Old Boys’ Association was held last night, Mr. A. J. Congratulations were extended to the Stratford members on the formation of a branch. Mr. Dave Ekdahl was appointed secretary and treasurer at the last annual meeting and had carried out his duties with credit. He had been a “live wire.” Once again the supper duties at the recent annual ball were undertaken by the “foster .mother,” Mrs. J. N. Anderson, and the branch was very fortunate in having such a. loyal supporter. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr. W. H. Moyes; president, Mr. J. J. Pease; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. S. Robb (senior) and J. S. Tarrant; secretary, Mr. J. D. Ekdahl; auditor, Mr. D. Lennon; executive, Messrs. M. Good, D. Syme, J. Shaw (Hawera), J. Patterson (Manala), C. McCullum (Okaiawa), K. Honeyfield (Patea) and A. Dickie (Waverley); .delegate to New Plymouth body, Mr. D. F. C. Saxton.
