BASIC GRAIN PRICES
STABILISATION IN ARGENTINA. GOVERNMENT DECREE ISSUED. By Telegraph —Press Assn. —Copyright. Buenos Aires, Nov. 29. The Ministry of Agriculture to-day issued a decree re-establishing for the new crop year the basic prices of grain originally established for November 29, 1933, when the Government initiated its grain buying programme, the price of wheat being set at 5.175 pesos per cwt, equivalent to 168 cents per 2201 b. The decree authorised the Grain Control Board to purchase on the Government’s account when necessary to maintain prices.
