DULL SALE AT FEILDING. LITTLE INTEREST BY BUYERS. Feilding, Nov. 29. There was a small yarding with lack of keenness on the part of purchasers at the stock sale, which was held a day earlier on account of the races to-mor-row. Fat sheep barely reached export prices, and store sheep met a very dragging sale. Store cattle were mostly passed in, vendors’ reserves proving higher than the values offering, while fat cattle were easier, a dull sale resulting. PAHIATUA CATTLE PRICES. Pahiatua, Nov. 29. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.' Ltd. offered a moderate yarding of cattie at the weekly Pahiatua stock sale. Prices were as follow: 47 P.A. cows, £3 Us; bullocks. £5 13s and £5 15s; two-year steers, £4 10s; three-year steers, £5 Us; yearling steers, £2 16s; 30 two-year steers, £4 11s; 9 fat heifers, £5 10s; P.A. heifers, 38s to £2 5s; -yearling P.A. steers, to £3 ss; fat dairy cows, £3. Dalgety and Co. Ltd. offered 300 head of station cattle at the sale. Prices were on a par with recent sales, and a total clearance was effected with the exception of two pens.
