TREE PLANTING PLAN
OPERATIONS IN BRITAIN.
EMPLOYMENT OF 3500 MEN.
(British. Official Wireless). Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Nov. 27. More than 2,000,000 trees were planted last year in the home counties by the Forestry Commission. During this winter another 50,000,000 will be planted throughout Britain, 3500 men being engaged on the work.
