PACT PROPOSAL
MUTUAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.
FRANCE, RUSSIA AND TURKEY.

It is understood that M. Maxime Litvinoff, Soviet Foreign Minister, last week submitted to M. Pierre Laval, French Foreign Minister, proposals for the conclusion of a pact of mutual assistance, says the Daily Telegraph’s Paris correspondent. It is rumoured also that the Turkish Government is agreeable to conclude a pact of non-aggression and mutual consultation with France.
