Approximately 5693 bales from Australia and New Zealand were sold. There was good home and Continental .competition at full recent rates. Exchequer returns for the past week show that during the current financial year the total ordinary revenue, exclusive of self-balancing revenue, amounted at November 24 to £366,816,051, which was £2,044,652 less than the amount collected at the corresponding date last year. The expenditure for the same period, exclusive of self-balancing items, was £439,052,342, which exceeded the amount expended at the corresponding date last year by £8,109,677. BUTTER MARKET QUIET.
