IDENTIFICATION OF MONSTER.
BASKING SHARK OF NORTH SEA.

The remains of the sea monster found on the British Columbia Island on Wednesday has been identified by Dr. W. A. Clements, biologist, as a basking shark, common to the north coast of the British Isles, but unknown in North America. It was at first believed to be a sea cow, native to Alaskan waters.
