DRAW FOR COMPETITIONS.

SINGLES AND PAIRS GAMES.

The Kaponga Bowling Club has arranged the following draws for competitions to be completed before December 3:—

Singles championship, first round: O’Neill v. Palmer, A. W. Anderson v. Tyack, W. G. Cran v. Williams, V. Tait v. Champtaloup, A. E. Anderson v. Gardner, Libeau v. Espiner, Hammersley V. Pascoe, Carrington a bye. Pairs competition, first round: V. Tait and Malone v. Libeau and Jones, Carrington and Bennie v. Gardner and Tisdall, O’Neill and Albon v. A. E. Anderson and McLeod, Tyack and Guy v. Pascoe and A. V. Tait, Taylor and Champtaloup v. Cran and Abbott, Espiner and Pahner v. A. W. Anderson and McGregor, Hammersley and Blackwell v. Melville and Mills, Williams and Honore a bye. The following pairs have been drawn for the Mellow Cups competition, the skip mentioned first and leaders second: Taylor and Champtaloup, Cran and Abbott, Hammersley and Blackwell, Melville and Mills, Carrington and Bennie, Gardner and 'Tisdall, Tyack and Guy, Pascoe and A. V. Tait, V. Tait and Malone, Libeau and Jones, A. W. Anderson and McGregor, Espiner and Palmer, O’Neill and Albon, Williams and Honore, A. E. Anderson and McLeod. Kaponga rinks to play Hawera at Hawera on Saturday are: Palmer, Bennie, V. Tait, Dawson (s); O’Neill, Taylor, Hammersley, Cran (s); Pascoe, Melville, A. W. Anderson, Gardner (s); Espiner, A. V. Tait, Thurston, Tyack (s). Emergencies, Malone, Williams, Mills, Keheley. The following extra- five players will also visit Hawera: Carroll, Honore, Tisdall, Blackwell, Guy. CROQUET COMPETITIONS. The Kaponga Croquet Club’s first competition for the season was held on Saturday in perfect weather. There was a large attendance of players and the public, who took part in the special competitions of which good prizes were donated. The competitions were won as follows: Ladder, Mrs. J. Gibson; Hurry Scurry, Mrs. J. Gibson and Mrs. C. Thurston; “B” golf, Mrs. R. C. Mellow; “A” golf, Mrs. R. E. Williams.
