GOLF TEST TO U.S.A.
ALL SIX SINGLES GAMES WON. AUSTRALIAN MEN OUTCLASSED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.-Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. Melbourne, Nov. 27. Tire American golfers played so strongly in the singles in the international match against Australia, which concluded to-day, that they won all six games. America won the match by eight games to one. The day was ideal for golfing, but again little public interest was taken. The Americans outclassed the Australians from the tee to the green. Details are:— L. Diegel defeated R. Stewart 8 and 7. Craig Wood defeated E. Naismith 5 and 4. D Shute defeated M. L. Kelly 5 and 4. H. Cooper defeaeed F. McMahon 5 and 4. P. Runyan defeated V. S. Richardson 7 and 5. Ky.
