CRIME AT HAMILTON ADMITTED. ROYALTIES ON SAND CASE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Nov. 26. Pleading guilty to charges of fraud and theft at Hamilton, Frederick Charles O'Connor, aged 28, was sentenced in the Police Court to six months’ imprisonment. Accused obtained information regarding royalty due to another person from whose property the Waikato County Council was taking sand and went to the county office and lifted the money, forging the rightful owner’s name.
