GOOD ROAD FOR DUKE
GISBORNE IMPROVEMENT PLANNED. EXTENSIVE WORK UNDERTAKEN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Nov. 26. In anticipation of the visit of the Duke of Gloucester, extensive improvements are being effected to the South Road, comers being cut back, fillings widened, edges and shoulders built up. Some of the worst corners on Wharerata Hill are to be eliminated.
