COUNTRY SCHOOL SPORTS
INGLEWOOD ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Inglewood Country Schools Sports Association was held at Inglewood on Saturday afternoon, those present being Messrs. J. Klenner (chairman), I. V. Buchanan, ”H. Marsh, G. Barnes and F. Corney. The chairman stated that the meeting was the last for the year and that it was called to pass the accounts of the annual combined concert which was held at Kaimata this year. He was pleased to say that the concert had been a great success.
The secretary, Mr. Buchanan, stated that after the various accounts had been met there would be a profit of a little over £4 to go towards the buying of a set of football jerseys for the representative team next ye.ar. The secretary said that six schools participated in the concert, only one of the affiliated schools not presenting items. Mr. Marsh said he thought every school that took part in the games should also take part in the concert, and he moved a remit for the annual meeting, “That schools not participating in the annual combined concert find a proportion of the nett door-takings at such concert. ■ It was decided to hold the annual general meeting on the third Saturday in April-
