RESULTS OF NIGHT’S CONTESTS. Impromptu swimming events were held by the Eltham Swimming Club last night The attendance of swimmers and public was disappointing and the contests were not as good as was expected. Results are:— 25 yards, junior girls: Nyla Harrison (8s) 1, June Cooper (12s) 2, Pattie Cooper (scr) 3. 25 yards, junior boys: C. Rye (ss) 1, T. Mills (Is) 2, J. Haworth (scr) 3. 50 yards, women: Peggy Mills 1, Patty Cooper 2, Vetie Camcross 3. 50 yards, men: —First race: E. Townsend (ss) 1, W. Ware (6s) 2, L. Ware (scr) 3. Second race.: E. Townsend (ss) 1, L. Ware (scr) 2, W. Ware (ss) 3. Ribbon dive: J. Williams 1, E. Townsend 2, J. Wolfe 3. Girls’ dive: Jean Carson 1, Patsy Paterson 2, Betty Bridger 3. Men's dive: R. Paterson 1, W. Ware 2. P. Gavigan 3. Relay race: High School 1, primary boys 2, primary girls 3.
