AIR SERVICE SPEED
ENGLAND-AUSTRALIA ROUTE
BRITISH PAPER’S CRITICISM.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 11.30 p.m. London, Nov. 24. Commenting on the Marquis of Londonderry’s assurance of a seven-days air service to Australia, the Observer says the Air Ministry will have to remember the possibility of another country fixing its vision on something better. “We are still far short of the facilities that ought to be commanded by our farflung Empire,” adds the paper. “Whether air travel can be left permanently under the jurisdiction of a department primarily concerned with warfare is a question still to be determined.”
