CAR SKIDS IN GRAVEL
FRACTURED ARM FOR DRIVER. ACCIDENT BEYOND URENUI. A badly fractured right arm was suffered by Henry Nathaniel Rowe, Beach Street, New Plymouth, when his fiveseater sedan car somersaulted from the road beyond Urenui yesterday. The car was severely damaged but a passenger with Mr. Rowe was unhurt. Mr. Rowe was driving along the urenui fiat nearing the junction of Okokc Road, and in passing another motor his car entered a skid in the loose gravel. It overturned spectacularly and was badly damaged, only the fact that it was an all-steel modem vehicle saving Mr. Rowe and his passenger from more serious m--3 The car was towed to New Plymouth and Mr. Rowe was taken to hospital, where his condition was reported last night as satisfactory.
