NO GAMES IN THE NORTH KAPONGA HAS NARROW WIN. MATCHES IN SOUTH TARANAKI. No shield bowling matches were played in the northern division on Saturday, but numerous friendly games were arranged. In South Taranaki Kaponga beat Park and Patea defeated Hawera. By the narrow margin of two points Kaponga defeated Park (Hawera) in a competition match at Kaponga on Saturday.
