BELATED ARRIVAL
ME. BROOK REACHES MELBOURNE. DISAPPOINTMENT AT RECEPTION. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, Nov. 22. Mr. H. L. Brook and Miss Lay, who made a belated arrival in the centenary air race, expressed disappointment that there was no official greeting when they landed on Tuesday. Officials said last night that the usual official reception was arranged at Laverton, but Brook made a mistake and landed at the Essendon aerodrome instead. The organisation controlling the race had been disbanded when the race officially ended on November 16.
