INGLEWOOD FAREWELL
MR. AND MRS. MULHOLLAND. An evening was given by members of the Presbyterian guild in their hall on Wednesday, the occasion being a farewell to Mr. and Mrs. Mulholland, who are to leave Inglewood to reside at Whakatane. Musical items were given by Mesdames L. R. Newland (Auckland), Nodder, Birch-Johnston, Miss Larmer and Mr. Kohn, and a sketch entitled “Washing Day” was acted by Misses M. McLean, G. Fawcett and J. Feaver. Mrs. Mulholland was presented with a cut glass vase and Mr. Mulholland with a diary and an armchair ash tray. Community singing was led by Mrs. BirchJohnston and musical honours were given for Mr. and Mrs. Mulholland.
