HOME GARDENS
COMPETITIONS FOR SCHOOLS.
WEST END POINTS SCORE.
Keen interest has been taken by pupils of the West End School in the home garden competition this year. The arrangements of the plots was on the whole good and they have been kept remarkably free from weeds. In most cases tilth was very satisfactory and with an improvement in soil conditions would be much more heartening to the children. This is the first year the West End School has identified itself with the home and garden competitions. Results were as follows:—
