CHILD DROWNED
FATALITY IN LAKE WAKATIPU.
daughter of relief worker.

Advice was received by the Invercargill police this evening that Eunice Margaret Dixon, aged two, the daughter of Mr. Douglas Dixon, a relief worker at the Kingston end of the Queenstown Road, fell into Lake Wakatipu to-day and was drowned. The body was recovered by relief workers who tried artificial respiration without success.
