IMPERIAL SMELTING COMPANY. AUSTRALIAN GOLD HELPED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Nov. 12. Sir Robert Horne, president of the Imperial Smelting Corporation, said that the nett profit for the year was £154,984, compared with £129,880 last year. The plant had expanded but the industry was not yet giving a fair return. The company’s efforts to aid the resuscitation of Australian gold mining had thus far been successful. ■ The company had almost completely re-organised the British zinc industry.
