TWO MINISTERS CHOSEN MESSRS. COATES AND MASTERS. MUTUAL PROBLEMS OF TRADE. LIFTING OF THE EMBARGOES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. To discuss with the Commonwealth authorities questions of mutual interest to Australia and New Zealand the Minister of Customs (the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates) and the Minister of Industries and Commerce (the Hon. R. Masters) will leave for Australia either this week or next week. Indications are that the delegation will sail from Wellington by the Monowai for Sydney on Thursday, for to-night the departing time of the ship was changed from 3 p.m. to. 8 p.m. An official announcement concerning the delegation will be made probably tomorrow. . Messrs. Coates and Masters will confer with the Federal Ministers on matters affecting the New Zealand-Australian trade treaty. The lifting of the respective embargoes against Australian fruit and New Zealand potatoes is one question to be discussed. Another is that of the competition of heavily subsidised foreign shipping.
