At the Sydney Stadium in one of the best boxing bouts of the year the American, Tod Morgan, 10.4, and the Canadian, Jack Portney, 10.0, drew over 15 rounds The Canadian had the advantage in the early rounds in which Morgan suffered a cut eye and a cut head. The American recovered remarkably, justifying the decision. •
