RATIONALISING PLAN
FACTORIES OF NEW ZEALAND. CONFERENCE OF NEXT WEEK. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 9. A general conference of manufacturers will be held next week here. It will be opened by Mr. J. G. Coates. Among the proposals to be discussed will be the setting up of a permanent industrial commission and the provision of facilities to assist manufacturers in working out in those industries where necessary schemes for co-ordination and other methods of further increasing the efficiency of manufacturing industries as a whole.
