Klien McAdoo and Onate, the Filipino, were married to-day. Onate reiterated His insistence on his Spanish, descent and said he was not a Malay. It is understood Mr. William McAdoo, the brides father, gave his consent to the union. Californian authorities refused to marry the couple because of the State s law which forbids the marriage of a person of Caucasian blood with a member of a coloured race.
