For crossing the intersection of Brougham and Devon Streets, New Plymouth, at a speed estimated at 35 miles per hour by Constable J. Mitchell, Hector Clouston, manager, New Plymouth, was fined 30s (costs 10s) by Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M.. at the New Plymouth Police Court yesterday. Tire offence took place at 10.30 on the night of October 31, and Clouston, who pleaded guilty by letter, stated he did not recollect it.
