OPUNAKE
Mesdames R. Ritchie, P. Dalrymple and T. N. Watt attended the quarterly meeting of the South Taranaki Croquet Association at Hawera on Thursday. Mesdames Famell and J. Strong were recently hostesses at a gift afternoon in aid of the Anglican bazaar. The gathering was held at the home of Mrs. Farnell. A large number of gifts were received. Mrs. C. Strong won a competition.
Mrs. Hatchwell and Miss Margery Hatchwell, Lyttelton, are the guests of Mrs. Wood, The Manse, Opunake.
