SALE AT TAUMARUNUI. BUYERS FROM A WIDE AREA. (Special to News.) Taumarunui, Oct. 16. The fifth annual Red Poll cattle sale was held at the Taumarunui saleyards to-day. Owing to the fact that some of the cattle did not arrive in the best condition the annual judging was not held. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co. Limited and Messrs. Abrahafn and Williams Limited were the auctioneers. The entry comprised some very choice AA standard cattle from Wanganui, King Country and Waikato breeders. The vendors were Mr. J. E. Shewry (Kohuratahi). Mr. D. F. McLeod (Opatu, Taumarunui), Mr. W. Leask (Eureka, Waikato), Mr. L. A. Passau (Matiere). Messrs. Risk brothers (Ohura) and the estate of the late A. G. .Anderson, Kukute, Wanganui. Buyers w?re present from Wanganui, Ohura, Taumarunui, Mercury Bay, Northern Wairoa and Waikato.
