RECORDS BROKEN
DUNEDIN TECHNICAL COLLEGE. GOOD PERFORMANCES BY BOYS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Three records were broken at the Technical College sports to-day. In the hop, step and jump championship under 15 D. Ferguson covered 37ft. lin., easily breaking the previous record of 34ft. lOin. Throwing the cricket ball, H. Montgomery put 10 yards on to the existing record by throwing the bal 87 yards. A third record was established in the 440 : yards walk under 15, in which R. Somerville covered the distance in 2m. 2 2-55., the previous record being 2m. 14s.
