BROADCAST TO SOUTH AMERICA. END OF EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 8 p.m. Buenos Aires, Oct. 14. More than 1,000,000 people jammed Palermo Park and the nearby streets on Sunday to hear a greeting and a benediction from Pope Pius XI., speaking by wireless from the Vatican, on the last day of the Eucharistic Congress. The benediction was pronounced in Latin. Cardinal Pacelli celebrated pontifical mass. The entire assemblage turned the park into a sea of white with waving handkerchiefs just before Cardinal Pacelli pronounced the apostolic blessing which ended the ceremony.
