CONTROL OF CRICKET
DIRECT REPRESENTATION SOUGHT. WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION MOVE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The management committee of the Wellington Cricket Association intends to advocate at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Association that the major associations’of the Dominion should have direct representation on the council. The committee decided tonight to instruct its delegates to move that the council consist of a secretary, a treasurer, one permanent resident of Christchurch elected at the annual meeting, one representative of each of the four major associations, and one representative of the minor .associations.
