Mr. J.-Lowe was injured while trucking logs at Te Kiri on Saturday. He received severe injuries to his leg and was taken to New Plymouth Hospital. About 40 unemployed graduates and under-graduates have enrolled at the students’ employment bureau that has been opened at Canterbury College, states the Sun. The proportion of those seeking seasonal and permanent occupations is about equal. A start has been made in circularising 1000 business firms, station owners and organisations likely to provide jobs. .
