OPPONENT FOR MR. FORBES
HOTUNUI LIBERAL CANDIDATE.

Mr. Gordon Hamilton, a Hapuka farmer, announces that he will contest the Hurunui seat as a Liberal. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, has been the member for Hurunui since 1925. At the last election he defeated a Labour opponent by a majority of 3973.
