POULTRYMAN’S INQUIRY
N.H. (Hawera).—ln view of your limited capital, it would be better to obtain day-old chicks and a brooder and rear all the chicks you require. Wyandottes and Rhode Island Reds would be good breeds if you commence now. White Leghorns or Anconas would, however, be better if you cannot make a start before next month. In the meantime you can make appliances and houses. It is fortunate that you will be able to keep on with some employment. Write for any other information you require.
