POWER BOARD COURT CASE
MILKING POWER AGREEMENT.
DISPUTES IN THE MANAWATU.
By Telegraph—Press Association.
Wellington, Last Night.
After testing the feeling of the court for likely grounds for seeking an injunction against the Manawatu-Oroua Power Board in continuation of the Supreme Court hearing to-day, counsel for the Palmerston North City Council amended his claim to exclude opposition to the board’s reduction of the charges for milking machine power. The hearing will continue to-morrow on the question as to whether the board was justified in increasing the rate for power and lighting in the area of Palmerston North to the advantage of Feilding and the country districts. z -
