LAUNCH VOYAGE TO DUNEDIN
PARTY TO LEAVE WELLINGTON.
MEMBERS OF BYRD EXPEDITION.

A party intends to leave to-morrow night for Dunedin in Rear-Admiral R. E. Byrd’s launch, the Edsel Ford, which has been laid up in the boat harbour since the explorer went south. The seafarers are Mr. Guy Tapley, Captain B. Johansen, Messrs. Victor, Niewoehner, R. Miller and A. Miller.
Mr. Tapley is a son of the late Mr. H. Livingstone Tapley, Mayor of Dunedin, and brother of Mr. Colin Tapley, who is at present acting in motion pictures at Hollywood. Captain Johansen and Mr. Niewoehner, both of the Bear of Oakland, are members of the Byrd Antarctic expedition party.
