APPOINTMENTS BY BISHOP
CANON JAMES VICAR-GENERAL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 11. Bishop Sprott, of Wellington, announces the appointment of Canon James, vicar of St. Paul’s Pro-Cathedral,. to be vicar-general of the Wellington Diocese; Archdeacon Hansell to be Archdeacon of Wellington in succession to the late Archdeacon A. Johnson; and the Rev. W. Bullock, vicar of St. Peter’s, Wellington, to be Archdeacon of Wairarapa in succession to Archdeacon Hansell.
