MATA CRICKET CLUB DANCE
GENERAL AND PERSONAL NEWS. A euchre party and u dance were held in the Mata hall last Friday night in aid of the cricket club. Euchre prizes were won by Miss Laird 1, Miss E. Trask 2, Mr. C. Hitchcock 1 and Mr. B. Dive 2. A Competition for a box of chocolates was won by Miss S. Hitchcock. Monte Carlo dances were won by Miss D. Williams and R. Lee, and Miss J. Campbell and R. Druce, and a statue log cabin by Miss M. Jordan and B. Martin. Music for the dancing was played by Miss N. Prince, with extras by Mrs. Druce and Miss A. Trask. Mr. J. Wolfe was master of ceremonies.
Miss U. Trolove has returned from Auckland.
