CRICKET AT HURLEYVILLE
MARRIED AND SINGLE DRAW. An interesting match was played by the newly-formed Hurleyville Cricket Club between married and single men at the week-end. Personal and General. Mrs. Stone, who has been staying .with her son, Mr. V. Stone, has returned to New Plymouth. Mr. A. Hodge is an inmate of the Patea Hospital. The young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hurley, Pat Hurley, met with a painful accident, injuring her arm by falling from a gate. The last five hundred evening held in aid of the Christmas tree fund was well attended. Prizes were won by a table comprising Misses Joan Illingworth and Greene, and Messrs. G. Corbett and R. Ward.
