OAONUI HALL FUNDS
EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. There was a large attendance at a euchre party and dance ■in aid of the Oaonui hall funds on Friday evening. Music was played by Mrs. C. - Malcolm, with extras by Mrs. A. Mischefski and Mr. W. Hohoia. Mr. Colin Bishop was master of ceremonies. Winners of the euchre prizes were Miss E. Roach and Miss M. Roach, and Mr. W. Hohoia, Messrs. Trotter and Duke sharing the second prize for men. Competititons were won by Miss Ratahi (box of chocolates) and Miss Northcott (iced cake). Personal. Miss L. Wooldridge has returned to Urenui. Mrs. Len Green has returned to Eltham. Mr. G. Holmes is recovering from his illness. Mr. A. H. Sorenson has returned home. Mrs. Bevan has returned to Oaonui.
