NEW PLYMOUTH OLD BOYS
AUCKLAND RE-UNION HELD. The annual re-union of the Auckland branch of the New Plymouth High School Old Boys’ Association. was held on Saturday evening. There .was an attendance of over 50, including , several masters from the school and representatives of kindred associations. The president, Mr. N. A. Kyle, made an appeal for funds for a proposed old boys’ scholarship, available to friends of old pupils of the school. Among the toasts honoured- were:— “The School,” proposed by Mr. Kyle and replied to by Mr. Wilson; “The Masters,”, proposed by 'Mr. Bell and replied to by Mr. Nash; “Kindred Associations,” proposed by Mr. Putt and replied to by Mr. Stephenson, of the Auckland Grammar Old Boys’ Association; “Absent Old Boys,”'proposed by Mr.. O’Halloran and replied to by Mr. Terry. . During the evening items were given by Mr. A. McElwain, Mr. R. Simmers, Mr. H. Murray and Mr. H. Withers.
