NEED WOMEN’S REST ROOM
LACK IN NEW PLYMOUTH. New Plymouth was the worst town in New Zealand insofar as its absolute lack of women’s rest rooms and conveniences were concerned, said a member of the executive of the Fitzroy Ratepayers’ Association at last night’s meeting when it was decided to recomjnend to the New Plymouth Borough Council that the present library building be utilised as a women’s rest room when the opportunity occurred. The chairman (Mr. L. N. Fairhall) considered this would be preferable to a site at, the railway station, which was some distance from the centre of the town. Mr. A. J. Abraham supported the chairman.
