STEAM PIPES. The main steam pipe is used as a leader, and there are separate branches to each place as required, and the valves are so arranged that by means of extension handles the steam is cut off when not required. This insures that the whole line is not alive when not wanted, and means a considerable saving in fuel costs. Waiokura is the fourth factory in Taranaki to have this up-to-date provision. The complete installations in both factories have been carried out in such a way that the utmost convenience is assured, so that the staffs are given the best and latest equipment known to modern science to-day.

' '■■• - - THESE ARE THE REASONS WHY: (1) “CELOTEX” is an Insulating Board made from Cane Fibres felted together. Cane Fibres in themselves contain countless Air Cells, but in the process of manufacture 5 further myriads of minute air cells-are formed which give “CELOTEX” its wonderful insulating value. (2) “CELOTEX” INSULATION BOARD has highly efficient insulation properties and is extremely light, weighing 13 to 141bs. per cubic foot, or approximately 601bs. per 100 square feet. / Its weight is uniform, and the process of manufacture continually under control. , (3) SUPERIOR STRENGTH. “CELOTEX” is much stronger than “Cork Board. It can therefore be utilised not only for Insulation but for other structural work. (4) NO SETTLING OF INSULATION. Loose fillings of all kinds sometimes give trouble from settling, producing open pockets without insulation. Such non-insulated spaces reduce insulation of ; the refrigerator. (5) NO OPEN JOINTS OR CRACKS. , When Cork Insulation of the Board type is used it has to be cut into Blocks of assorted sizes to fill the space for insulation. As such Blocks are always irregular in size they,cannot be accurately fitted, so that there are always many joints or cracks in the insulation.
