DEAD UNDER HIS TRACTOR
MAN PINNED UNDER MACHINE. CAPSIZE OVER WATER-HOLE BANK. By Telegraph—Press Association. \ Waimate, Last Night. Apparently owing to a defect in the steering gear a tractor driven along the road by William Gilmore Falloon, aged 32, a single man, ran over a bank, capsizing and pinning Falloon below the surface of the water-hole, where he was found dead by a roadman. At the inquest a verdict of death by suffocating due to compression of the chest by the weight ®f the tractor was returned.
