SPINE BROKEN AT FOOTBALL
SERIOUS GREYMOUTH ACCIDENT. HOPE OF RECOVERY STILL HELD. By Telegraph—Pi-ess Association. Greymouth, Last Night. William Sharpe, aged 25, a State colliery employee, was seriously injured in the neck when playing football yesterday in a civil service match at Hokitika. His spinal column was fractured but there are hopes of recovery.
