QUEEN AT HIGHLAND GAMES
KING SUFFERING SLIGHT COLD. UNABLE TO GO OUT IN COLD, British Wireless. Rugby, Sept. 6. The Queen, accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of York, attended the Highland games at the Braemar gathering. The King remained at Balmoral Castle, his medical advisers deeming it imprudent that he should stand in ttie exposed enclosure on the mountain side, as His Majesty is suffering from a slight cold which has affected the throat.
