' \ SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS MADE. British Wireless. ‘ Rugby, Aug. 16. The. fourth of the great propellers for , the new Canard liner,, which, weighs 35 tons and could not, owing to its size, be conveyed from .the manufacturer’s works to the Clyde by road or rail, was removed last night. The propeller was carried to the docks on an eight-wheeled rubber tyred 45-ton lorry, the driver being provided with a special police order permitting the use of the highways for the purpose between midnight and 6 a.m.
