CHOLERA TAKES GREAT TOLL
MANY DEATHS THROUGHOUT INDIA DISEASE CARRIED BY FUGITIVES. By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. Calcutta, Aug. 3. Cholera is taking a great toll of life throughout India, particularly in the Central Provinces, where 1500 died last week, making 5500 deaths in the past month. Inoculation is carried on wherever possible. The disease is carried by people fleeing terror-stricken from one village to another.
