Mrs. Gibson is visiting Waitara as the guest of her sister Mrs. Clark.
Mrs. J. Robinson has returned from Wellington.
Miss Ellett, New Plymouth, was the guest of Mrs. W. B. Cuming at the week-end. Miss Mavis Barriball, who has been visiting Waitara, has returned to Inglewood. Miss Thelma George, Te Aroha, is visiting WAitara. ’ - Mrs. J. Cole, Motonui, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to Motonui. Mrs. I. Prichard entertained a number of friends at bridge last Saturday evening. Mrs. F. Chapman has returned from a holiday at Wellington. An enjoyable afternoon in aid of the fancy work stall at the forthcoming spring flower show was given by Mrs. Cumming on Thursday. Bowls of camelias, violets and freezias made the room look very bright and were greatly admired. Items were given by Mrs. Lockyer, Mrs. Anderson and Miss Cumming and Miss Wakley and a competition was won by Mrs. Anderson.
